Please
make special note of the above boarding
times for your cruise and give yourself
enough time to arrive in Keelong. We can
provide you with a train schedule upon request.
Once
in Keelong proceed to the #2 East Keelong
passenger transportation wharfs. It is about
a 10 minute walk from the train and bus
station.
Once
at the wharf you want to go to the 2nd floor
of the Port Bureau building. To the Super
Star Libra ship proxy travel agency tourist
registration area. Take your booking confirmation
and exchange it for a boarding pass at The
Friendship Travel Service counter.
You
will be required to go through harbor customs
and immigration and receive your exit stamp
at this time. Once customs and immigration
is cleared you will be required to hand
in your passport to the ship's purser. They
in return will give you an identification
card that is to be used while on the ship.
After the cruise your identification card
is handed in for your passport.
How to get in Keelong
Port:
- You
can take a train to Keelong train station
and spend about 15 minutes taking a taxi
to Keelong Port.
- You
may also drive to Keelong Port, there
is a cooperative parking lot, but you
have to pay, the prices depends upon your
schedule from NT 250 to NT 800.
Other
points to consider:
- Even
though your cruise cost includes 4 meals
a day (breakfast, lunch, dinner and a
midnight snack) it doesn't include drinks.
Ensure that you do bring extra spending
money for drinks, gambling etc. You may
want to consider bringing your own drinks
on board.
- There
is a casino on board so if you want to
try your luck bring some extra money.
- Don't
forget your bathing suit and cap for the
pool and spa.
- Because
Keelong is a harbor town it's almost impossible
to find sea sickness pills, buy them before
you get to Keelong.
- Ensure
you have your passport and it doesn't
expire within 6 months of your return
date.
- Your
passport and requirement for exit and
entry into Taiwan are still ultimately
your responsibility so ensure all your
documentation is in order.
